Rector

The Rev. Dirk C. Reinken has served as Rector of St. Luke's since December, 2002. Father Dirk was ordained deacon in 1999 and priest in 2000 through the Diocese of Rhode Island. Prior to coming to St. Luke's, he was Curate at St. Luke's (Germantown) in Philadelphia, PA.

Monday is normally Father Dirk's sabbath.

Church Musician

Parish Musician, Charles “Chic” Walker’s singing and acting career took him not only to some of the greatest orchestras and opera companies in the world (Rome, Vienna, LaScala, Houston, Seattle, the National Symphony, PBS, RAI, ORF, Wolf Trap, Ravinia, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center) but also to Broadway, U. S. regional theaters and the international theater festivals of Edinburgh, Heidelburg, Caracas, Rio de Janierio and Munich.Since 1994, during the academic year Mr. Walker has been on the voice faculty at Westminster Choir College in Princeton. Last year Chic was named Director of the 2008Westminster Choir College High School Solo Vocal Artist Summer Programand since 2007 he has been the Director ofthe StarGazers Summer Theater Education Programfor Learning Stages. In the past 4 years Chic has also stage directed productions ofThe Fantasticks,Les Miserables,Fiddler on the Roof,Once Upon a Mattress,Godspell Little Shop Of Horrors and Into the Woods.He is the former artistic director of theLauda!Chamber Singers.

Parish Secretary

Mary Burket has been Parish Secretary since 1999. Mary runs the parish office and provides administrative support for the staff and parish ministries. Office Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12 noon except in July and August, when the office is close on Fridays.

Priest Associates

Priest Associates are not active staff members, but are clergy who are either retired or have responsibilities outside of the parish. They are affiliated with the congregation on an honorary basis and serve periodically throughout the year.

The Rev. Canon Joan Fleming retired as Rector of Christ Church, New Brunswick in 2004. Canon Fleming is a Deputy to General Convention and continues much of her ministry through the Anti-Racism Commission of the Diocese of New Jersey. Bishop Councell named her an honorary canon of Trinity Cathedral at Diocesan Convention in 2009.

 

 

The Rev. Lisa Caton is Episcopal Chaplain at The College of New Jersey. Her association with St. Luke's began with serving an internship at our parish during the discernment process for ordination. Lisa also serves the Diocese on the Christian Education Commission and assisted at All Saints, Princeton before beginning her ministry at TCNJ.
